You start out with " Unfortunately, the local Neocon bashers entirely miss the point." ,out of the blue, and then you say I'm not making any sense? Cool.

Rummy and Cheney may or may not appreciate you disassociating them from the Neocons, but they seem to have signed on to the PNAC charter fairly early on. He-who-must-not-be-named is Perle, who I've been informed I can't associate with W's policies without being anti-semitic. Calling Perle or Wolfowitz neo-Wilsonian is somewhat of a slur toward Wilson, I'd say, given Perle's great respect for democracy in Germany and Wolfowitz's not-so-subtle hint to the Turkish military to dump their stupid civilian government for the heinous crime of lining up with overwhelming Turkish popular opinion against W's grand plans.

I guess in the grand neocon scheme, "more moderate" can only mean "more agreeable to the neocons". Most of the rest of the world would seem to consider that quite an odd definition of "moderation".
