I find little in that article I can disagree with. Although I see much that others might: "GAY MARRIAGE??? ABOMINATION!"

It is at those points that "common moral vision" slams into the "dignity of man". And questions such as illegal drugs.

But what is a libertarian? I have seen people on this site claim to be libertarians who to me are indistinguishable from radical leftists. And radical rightists.

Many Democrats want to pick my pocket to help "the disadvantaged". Many Republicans want to do it to help corporations. I find it (slightly) amusing how often taxes seem to go up when such anti-tax folks as the Republicans actually get control of gov't. That hero of Republicans, Ronald Reagan, stuck Californians with the biggest tax increase up to his time. And started withholding of state income tax, which makes it much easier for gov't to increase taxes.

Moral values. There are those who claim to be libertarians who are pro-choice, holding it a woman's inalienable right to determine what happens to her own body. AND there are those who claim to be libertarians who are anti-abortion, holding the life and rights of the fetus trumps all other claims.

So who are these people, the libertarians?
