Thanks Slider. That's a better response than I'd have made.
Mikey ought bear in mind that SD II has been the one and only thread on SI (or the entire web, for that matter) with a lock on the big picture in gold AWA timing major moves in the gold stocks for the past several years.
For those new to the thread (OR ankle gummers who are - shall we say <memory challenged>?!<G>), Slider was the one who nailed the major sector bottom back in Oct/Nov of 2000. It was a great call.
In early April of 01', I loaded the boat for the acceleration leg which took off at that time. And one or both of us has pounded the table on each and every important trading top, bottom and inflection point since.
Although we appreciate people posting their opinions, Mike. We're here to make serious money. If you want to do that, you might want to listen a little more to the few of us whose opinions have a proven record of doing that - in real time posts. You're really not taking advantage of the opportunities here if all you do is counter post every time I recommend a stock or provide solid evidence in support of correct and important sector calls that have been made on SD II.
There's nothing wrong with being an independent thinker. But consistently fading our calls and trades is just going to lose you money over time. That's not ego or bragging. It's a fact. And the posting records over the years proves it. So....
Don't be just another bagholder, Mikey. We have lot's of those already.<G>

ot/Slider. Great outdoor track action, this afternoon. Both my son's 4 x 400m and 4 x 800m made it to the final round of the SW Ohio Regional Meet. That'll be run on Sat. Some mighty fast pups out there.
One of his best friends qualified for the State Meet, clocking a 49 flat in the open 400m. And the kid is only a Soph!! If he stays healthy, by the time he's a senior, spectators will be wearing ear protectors to ward off impact from the sonic boom every time he puts the hammer down.<g>
And, one of our field competitors from our H.S. threw the discus 181 feet. Heckova day. How's the baseball season look to you so far? TIA
