I haven't read the Vanity Fair article, but I too come to the same conclusion David Ray does. I did not see any direct admission by Wolfowitz that the WMD charge was fabricated. Instead, all I saw was one quote, most likely taken out-of-context.

Maybe you ought to buy another 2x4 and smash it across my forehead as well.

Apparently, you guys have already had a 2x4 up the head; otherwise, your response to the Wolfie article doesn't make a lot of sense.

Just in case you still have splinters in your head, Wolfie is saying that you and I and all the rest of the Amer. public had to be manipulated into going along with this war and that the WMD lie was the best one to put out.

And the best part......he doesn't care that we know about it.
