| sandintoes, Just to illustrate how ignorant the students are that failed the FCAT, a group of them were holding picket signs on a street corner in protest. One of the signs said, "shame on Busch". She must have liked her beer more than spelling class. Another sign said, "band the FCAT". Now if someone doesn't know the difference between "band", and "ban", they don't deserve to graduate grade school, much less high school. Most of these teenagers were white, but the black, and hispanic, mothers are up in arms about their children that failed too. Since less than 2% of the students tested failed, there is no excuse for any protests. There are some dumb kids, smart kids, and in between kids. There are just some politicians, or local leaders, that are looking for any excuse to cry "racism". If a black person slipped on a wet sidewalk, they would blame it on racism. |
