No clear winner here. Volume went up on both major exchanges, and the mo-mo leader Nasdaq finished up. So we have one distribution day and one accumulation day. Or another way to look at it, the SOX saved the day for Nasdaq, while BKX was the goat for NYSE. none. By:madtrader

The final hour is going to be very critical for the bulls here. Volume is on pace to exceed yesterday's. If we close down, it will be a clear distribution day, and a clear failure at the SPX 960 line. Not that we can expect the resistance can be broken at first try. The key is, if we do end up with a distribution day, will it be followed with another. If we do, then I will concede the run from March is over, and all the bull talk is just hubris. none.
