Ok, you've convinced me. The PNAC people never had any hope for Chalabi, and his quick insertion post-war was no big deal. I'm sure Wolfowitz was occupied with other things while that was going on. Do a local search on Chalabi, you'll find he never much figured in the grand the PNAC plan at all. Just a figment of my warped mind.
