NYSE Stock Index Contract Price Limits
The Board of Directors has approved revisions to Regulation 1008.01D to clarify the price limit provisions for CBOTâ DJIASM sm* contracts in the open auction and electronic markets during daytime trading hours. These revisions will make it clear that:

(1) Between 7:20 a.m. and the time of the primary U.S. securities market (NYSE) opening, a 10% price limit applies to both open outcry and electronic trading, but only on the downside;

(2) Between 3:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., the 20% and 30% levels continue to apply on the downside in the open outcry environment; and

(3) Between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the 20% and 30% levels continue to apply on the downside to electronic trading (currently applicable to mini-sized DowSM futures).

All times noted above are Central Time.

These regulation changes are effective immediately.
