<no message fm Mq> Jay, I've been a week in 3D. Tourist hotel in Rotorua was almost empty compared with this time last year. The staff say Sars is to blame. I don't totally believe that. They are usually full of Chinese, Japanese, Koreans and others bringing foreign exchange. NZ$ foundations slip-sliding away. Farmers doing traditional moaning. The USA conquest and occupation of Iraq isn't going all that well. The freedom-loving, conqueror-welcoming population seems to be somewhat recalcitrant requiring a bit of Saddam-like suppression. The British, with long traditions of taming colonials seem to have done better in Basra, though the American excuse is that the Shite's were happier to be freed. I suspect the Americans are not skilled colonists, prone to follow National Rifle Association principles and overwhelming force ideas rather than peace, light, harmony, happiness, etc - they didn't even decide for CDMA2000 as Baghdad's cyberphone system. 1000s of posts behind, Mqurice
