She mended her ways.

My daughter studies in an International school US down in Curitiba. Learning both English and Portuguese. After the problem with math, (a breeze since her mother is a math teacher) she was being behind in English and Portuguese.

The teachers didn't underdstood why a Brazilian couldn't speak Portuguese or write Portuguese well. She was born in West Java Indonesia, and had been hopping, from Swedish to Czech and end up not speaking much Portuguese.

OK I was to blame since I told her that its the language of Mocambique and Angola and she should not worry about it)

Today, my wife wrote me that she booked a flight for next week to come to BKK just to be informed that on the June 13th she is going to get an award of being the best Portuguese AND English student of her class.

I am asking her to re-book and stay for her to get her award. Because Oon the 4th grade, the day I fell from my bicycle in the mud and didn't get to the school, I lost my award of the second best student and didn't get the prize ("Les Miserables" of Victor Hugo).

They elected another guy and gave the book to him!!! Even today, 40 years later I don't forgive them for me to have won and have not get the award.

From where I seat in the Internt cafe in BKK I can see Kikokunia Bookshop, the best book shop around here. Can find any book there. I have money and could go there buy the Victor Hugo book, But one day I go back there -perhaps the school still exists and ask them to repair the damage and give the fucking book that rightly belong to me...
