Do you know the #RGB's for the colors you used in the BMP? If so, sure, I'd definitely like to take a look. si_admin@techstocks.com

If you don't know the #RGB's, it wouldn't do me much good because you could show a light pink somewhere and I'll key it in as some shade of purple and think it's the same color.

Regarding, Jon, I'm only mildly (and sometimes a little more) offended by his tack with me, and when I've had enough I snap at him, he takes it, and we move on. You probably should be less offended by him than I am.

He earned a lot of "Criticize Bob harshly" points because of his catching the www-less detail that was missed. If he weren't so keen on busting my chops technically, we could've missed that one a lot longer.

He could be more tactful, but the vast majority of geeks are severely lacking in people skills, which is something I'm used to. Most are convinced that everyone else, including other geeks, are comparative morons.

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if Jon's left alone for the most part on this stuff because:

1. He's caught me out on a really good one that was important to the site.
2. He's really just sparring with me.
3. Though I occasionally get fed up with the lack of tact, overall I kinda dig the challenge. And insult him back occasionally on a similar level. That's what the "LIKE '%word%'" thing was.

That said, Jon, just gimme some time. And backing off a tad would be appreciated. These things take a while.

When I started at iHub, I met with the same thing, and much harsher, from a non-geek: JoeMoney. He got really nasty about how he was a web developer and that the previous Admin from SI couldn't possibly know squat about programming, ignoring, of course, the fact that I ended a career of longer than 10 years as a programmer/consultant before taking the job. <g>
