I have no idea from where and how Eric got any money but I love the idea of a TSX listing The more I like this BHP deal the more I like it Apparently they discovered the first Canadian diamond mine: ekati.ca So they bring not only capital but diamond expertise to the deal. From what I can see they well be both managing and financing the next stages of exploration.
