you are taking the coin toss experiment far more seriously than I.

The fact is that getting the daily market direction right a majority of the time is no indication that one can make money. And that is for a variety of reasons. Examples, of conditions that can negate profitable trading, even when right a majority of the time:
-Magnitude of moves will likely be disproportionate
-Intraday volatility can whipsaw traders

If you have followed my posts for any period of time, you will have noticed that I often try to get empirical verification for assertions made here on SI. One example is that there is a correlation between moon phases and market turns. I have posted a chart numerous times that shows the moon phases (new and full). I have been challenged a few times as if I believe one way or another that there is a correlation...the fact is, I haven't reached a conclusion yet, but at this point, have found no statistical reason to trade based on moon phases.

<Dude, why do you want to own the market?
I play the indices with options on a pretty regular basis. So general market direction is pretty important to me.

Congratulations on your 500% gains on LH
