The financial shows on Fox Fake News were a hoot today. Jimmie Rogers is going to be a father again, or so his wife tells him. <g> The best today was the Cavuto show. They had 4 bulls who were also right wing, politically, and one bear who was also a moderate, politically. The right wingers ganged up on the bear/moderate and pounded him until he was nearly as senseless as they were. The worst was Cavuto and this dumb geek, Bob Oldstein. Now, until 2002, Oldstein had a pretty fair record of money management, but, to listen to him, you have to assume somebody behind the scenes is making the real decisions. That he remembers to breath amazes me.

Anyway, the main bull argument on all programs was that stocks are going up, therefore, they will go up. I guess an alpha rally monkey requires these followers who should know beta. <g>

The last program was better, with The Capitalist Pig and Trapper John from Mash sounding at least hesitant about the rally of the crap beyond all valuation measurements in history prior to 1998 and after 1929.

Also fun to watch other Fox Fake News about how finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq is not important. How the French and Germans are wrong, presented as news, not opinion. And how the recession isn't Bush's fault as ..., well, it's just not. <G>
