GB's and his family's links to the Bin laden family are or were widespread . Not to say he was personally involved, certainly not, but the USG moved too quickly to get the bin laden's out of the USA after 9/11 and has since worked to bury evidence of bin l's indirect financing links to charities evidently involved with terrorism. This seems to have been done in large part to protect the GB family from embarrassment. Most , but not all the BL's were fully opposed to Osama's goals, but again not all of them were , according to what i can find out. Of course one can also look at Clinton's poor record at tracking down Osama and blame him for allowing the climate that fostered Osama's daring. one can also look far back and note that Ronnald R. pulled the USA out of
Beirut after the barracks and embassy bombings there. GB senior failed to take out Saddam and both RR and GB senior armed Iraq and Osama in the 1980's and early 90's.

I just wish we had someone in the White House strong and yet still respected by the majority of the people in most countries. When did that last happen; Kennedy? Roosevelt? Ike?.

PS Why did the White House wait over 20 minutes to alert the President to the attacks on the WTC?? What is the answer to that one; did they feel they needed more info?
