Northforce: The Motorola, shoot itself in the foot company, is still at it. No one in his right mind would buy MOT phones with MOT WCDMA chips inside. A loser in the making.

But what is most interesting is that MOT is still trying.

Having given up on 1 x, MOT thinks it has a chance for WCDMA.

We shall see.

And beyond.

What is fun is that the "World" is a GSM playground.

Viva la GSM!

But, it is without any new ability to compete in the world in which we now live - voice yes, data, ? But there is EDGE which is new. A revival. Wow.

So, what happens in 2004? Or 2005?

Will CDMA win or not?

Time will tell.

PS Thinking about China and India and the kind of phone sales these countries represent, it is hard to take seriously sales elsewhere. This is where Qualcomm has game, set, and match.

Best.
