"Seybold recently hinted that H3G was also using a Q chipped wcdma phone"
On the back of the NEC phone it's a small label with "3G by Qualcomm" .So it's understandable if people think that there are things from QCOM inside. But I think it's just a patent thing.QCOM sure knows how to make enemies.QCOM tried to stop WCDMA alltogether and now they are forcing companies that don't have enough IPR:s to put a QCOM-label on the backside.I wonder how fat the chances are that NEC will ever buy anything from QCOM.If all companies would do the same then all electronics would just be covered by companylabels.
