Sean,
Sorry to hear you were disappointed in Weinstein. You are right in that every one has their preferences in study materials ! Having plowed through the usual and sundry pure TA books, I like Weinsteins book because he MIXES both FA and TA - which is the investing style I feel most comfortable with. You certainly could not learn TA from Weinsteins book - because he only uses basic versions of TA. It is intended to be more of a supplement for those who have some idea of what type of trader/investor they already are, than a basic text. Everyone has to choose the style they're comfortable with . I think a lot of us in NJ enjoyed Henry Brookins style - and he just happened to mention that Weinsteins book was a book he felt had a lot of value. But for a pure technician - Weinsteins book would leave a lot to be desired. All depends what you're looking for !

Bob, thanks for bringing up Hubert. I often forget to consult his reviews when I'm thinking about a newsletter. I have heard a lot of good things about THE CHARTIST. Think I'll just stick to Weinsteins theories, though, and nix his newsletter.

Bev
