My experience with pricing of these bonds has been terrible. There are so few available that it is rare to find a decent price. There was a time last August-October when I get lucky and found some prices near the convertbond.com prices, but otherwise it has not happened. Maybe, it is that most trades are in the millions, or that there is a separate market for mutual funds. Whatever the reason, given the difficulty to buy and the current prices, I'm not very interested anymore. I have an open bid on some SFE bonds, and I still hope to sell the SEPR '05s, but that will probably be it for me.
