When, in your illustration, one of the players is the US government, well it's time to remain skeptical. And wait to see how this plays out. What is your implication? That the other player won't dare say boo against the government, because he might be hauled off to jail? Or do your reserve all your skepticism for republican administrations, with none left over regarding the likelihood of reporters to misquote their subjects?
