As somewhat of a peace offering, here is an article on SIRI and XMSR. I have traded SIRI numerous times, but this makes it seem more likely that a long term investment in either or both of these companies would pay off nicely. Neither makes money yet, and they have quite a bit of debt, and will have a lot of shares outstanding if and when they do finally turn profitable, so it will take a lot of net earnings to drop much to the bottom line in terms of EPS, but it seems clear at this point that this technology will survive and grow. Perhaps more or at least an equivalent opportunity would be found in the equipment manufacturers, as it was for a long time in the cell phone makers. In any event, certainly worth a look and worth keeping an eye on these two companies. IMHO
