Another virus problem.

I'm on vacation with a Compaq Persario laptop. Went online Friday to get messages and got more than I bargained for. My home system uses Roadrunner, Zone Alarm and a router based security system - never a problem. Didn't have any protection on the laptop.

My problem is - knowing I picked up something Friday, when I downloaded messages, I restored the system to Friday morning checkpoint and went to McAfee for their online scan. After 2 hours and 300 infected files later - the system crashed last night. Could not clean or "quaranteen" any of the corrupted files. I restored to last Friday again this morning to log on to this site to ask for help.

After a couple hours of run time I'll start getting error msgs. regarding .dll files.

Any good programs out there that will clean current viruses?

TIA
