Bi-lingual education didn't and doesn't work... I can't imagine why it should not work. My Grandfather and his brother and sister went to school in a different country every few years, finally graduating from Hollywood High between 1912 and 1920. Upon completion of their education they spoke five languages and had respectively become a Doctor, an Attorney, and a real estate developer. American's phobia about speaking other languages is very odd. I studied five and speak three.
