Sigh. And sigh again. Heavy are the burdens of the world. Where to begin?

I knew you would disagree with just about anything I typed. And I knew you always considered yourself right. Thus, I must always be wrong. That logic seems to endure.

It's good to know, from your point of view, that if Charlie Rose and Tom Friedman can agree about something all the rest of us should jump up and down with great joy because they settle the truth for the rest of us. Geez.

I repeat, the term "terrorist" is as much political as anything else. For some the same acts, the same personage, is/are thought to be the acts of resistance of freedom fighting, etc. From that side, the Palestinian side, some of the acts of the Israeli military must seem to be terrorist while they are termed necessary acts of defense by the Israelis. Is it then only in the eyes of the beholder? I don't think so but to ignore the eyes of the beholder issue, which is what I think you do when discussing the Israeli Palestinian conflict is to see the conflict from only one side. But then I've said that before. And you have replied to that before. I have no idea where this goes.

As for the conflict, it still spirals downward. Though, I'm going to watch the Bush bit with more interest than I expected during the next few days. There is a glimmer of something. Only a glimmer but that's better than none. Obviously.
