I think you are missing some important distinctions.

There are acts that are inherently evil regardless of political considerations. They include the indoctrination of children into "martyr" operations and the targetting of innocent civilians for random murder.

The thread has been over this ad nauseum. I understand but thoroughly disagree with your apparent reluctance to condemn acts such as the ones I've noted. In my view, even a self-styled freedom fighter should have a moral compass that sets limits to his acts. The eye of the beholder argument is morally repugnant because it allows barbarities to be committed in the name of whatever cause is being embraced.

C'est la vie.
