A lot of the economy has nothing to do with the presidents actions.

Then he is giving money away to the rich for nothing.

And to the extent that the actions do effect the economy it can sometimes take years to have its full impact.

I know. The damage from the ensuing budget deficits will have to be dealt with by his successors and us.
