It's hard to know; there's so little information available at this time.

I also don't know how this works procedurally from the SEC's standpoint. If they had somebody contact them with an allegation, I doubt that would immediately result in a formal investigation -- wouldn't there be some sort of "probable cause" kind of inquiry first? Or are the only choices available to the SEC to investigate or not investigate? If that's their only choice, then I can imagine them not wanting to pass, given the scandals that the market has endured recently.

Too many questions, not enough answers -- the uncertainty, more than anything, is probably responsible for the drop today.
