My experience is that most of the problems in California are due to the diversity of students in California schools. I'll go along with that one, too. Plus, the kids don't care, the parents don't care and there are behavior problems in class that you wouldn't believe. It makes me sound like an old guy to say that, but the horror stories from friends who are teachers tell me that hardly any teaching gets done because of this situation.
