You would be, but if we had found WMD we would now be touting the humanitarian efforts anyway - it's sort of the next step.

Of course, I think there's about ten dictators in Africa that need removal - starting with Mugabe in Zimbabwe.

But we have no national interest so nothing will happen, no other nation seems to have a "national interest" either, including the spineless UN.


Actually, France has sent troops and the UN is involved on some level. But there can be no pretense....without oil, the Congo can not be of "national interest" to the US.
