Ron, I guess truth is context. For example - prove that Saddam did not have WMD? How would you do it? The UN inspectors lauded in this article clearly documented the existence of many tons of chemical and biological agents before they were withdrawn from Iraq. Then when Iraq was confronted - the Iraqis did not offer any proof (credible or otherwise) that they were destroyed - just said that they were. the multi-month 'rush' to war provided ample time to bury, hide or destroy such weapons. If the investigations show that the intelligence was fabricated and the Labour PM Tony Blair and the Republican President George Bush were both involved or even just hoodwinked by their handlers - heads will roll. However, if you really want to be a conspiracy theorist - try this one on for size - we have them and are analyzing them to death. Just waiting for all the rabid Ted Rall types to come out of the woodwork (maybe even a few Democrats) before springing the surprise. Along these lines a confirmed kill or capture on Osama will happen during the primaries (or maybe they hold off until October 2004 :-). John
