Pardon me for contradicting, but saying "you post without thinking, and often with distortions or a blatant lack of facts" is extremely rude. Telling people their hair is a mess, their clothes clash, or that their ideas are trivial, is also inherently rude, even if true (in your opinion).

I would encourage all other posters to vouch for this important social convention to Mr. Godot. The sparseness of postings recently on what used to be a very thought-provoking thread is stark testimony to what a lack of civility invariably does to intellectual discourse.

Obviously, people who are unhappy with rudeness masquerading as "truth" have indeed chosen to go elsewhere.
