Eventually someone is going to flood the market with cheap ($300+/-) laptops. Not everybody needs a 15" screen, gigabyte of RAM, 10's of GB of disk, DVD writer, etc. on their laptop. I think lots of folks are looking for something cheap enough to toss in the car without worrying about it, that can be easily synchronized with their desktop at home. As an alternative, PDA's (or even cellphones) could grow into such a device. That could seriously impact HP's laptop business if it happens. JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)
