Sometimes I just scratch my head about Americans and what they truly believe in.

The FCC dissenters, Adelstein and Michael Copps made note that there were 3/4 of a million correspondences, emails and calls to the FCC about the new rulemaking, and that about 99% were opposed to giving Rupert Murdock carte blanche to destroy the parts of our media he hasn't already poisoned. This seems to indicate a healthy attitude among the electorate.

But then you turn around and read something like this:

and you come to realize that there is a huge bias in this country about accepting the truth about the Middle East.

We aren't a very rational society. That's about all I can make of it.
