I bet he was. Has he evolved at all since The Byrds days? I might go see Maria Muldaur in a couple of days. She's gotten pretty eclectic the past few years, don't know if the jazzy Maria will be there or the folky Maria will be there. Doesn't really matter, she'll be good either way. Kinda fun tracking her career. I have a Kweskin Jug Band album with Maria D'Amato as lead female vocal, then there was her heyday when she did Midnight at the Oasis, now she does loungy stuff with people like Charles Brown. I like her Jazzabelle album, she does a great version of Mose Allison's Your Molecular Structure...
