Take Some Off the Table -- but Leave Some On

Take those profits. Book some gains. But let some things ride.

I am getting a lot of email from people who are telling me that they are "nervous" or "worried" about big gains.

High-quality problem.

What do you do if you are nervous? Why, you take a little
off the table. That's what I did this morning. I have some
stocks up 100%. I took a fifth off of one of them just to
make me less nervous. I also took some profits in the red
hot oils.

Did I take big money off? Nope. About 5%. I did it gingerly.
Obviously others are doing the same.

Why bother? Because it is the only way to fight the
nervousness and stay invested with the rest.

And I feel better already.
