WMD, which everyone has stated time and time again he had - for over a decade. It's not like Bush made this up, the issue of whether Iraq had them was even before Clinton came to office. The UN stated they had them, Iraq admitted they had them.

Saddam's direct support of terrorism and instability in the region, one example being his "gift" of $20K to PLO bombers families.

When our national interests are at stake world opinion is not the highest priority.
