If you would apply that rule equally, fairly, to friend and foe, then maybe I'd go along with you. The problem is, you don't.
There are probably 50 leaders of nations, today, who could be defined as a "murderer", if we use the same yardstick to measure their acts. And many of them are close allies of the U.S. Where are you going to stop?
You'll stop, after you've assassinated all the people whose politics you disagree with.
I know that's where you'll stop, because I have listened, on this thread, to endless rationalizations for murders done by our "friends".
Put this tool in their hands, and they will misuse it, by applying it in an extremely selective manner. As I see, every time I read the newspaper. |
