There is no fix in the conventional sense.
You sure? I thought the same of the Northern Ireland mess once- -that nothing short of a major explosion there with genocide and mass exodus by one side or the other could solve it- -but it seems now to have largely settled down. Maybe something similar could happen with the ME.

The two situations actually are similar in many ways. They both are deeply wrapped around religious differences and both involve colonization by foreigners.
