The American public seems pretty comfortable with making a distinction between personal moral failings and public abuse of office. My peeves with Bill Clinton have to do with his failings that affected his ability to get the job done - his political lying that left his allies hung out to dry, and his appalling you-can't-catch-me lack of judgment, that created roomfuls of enemies just baying for his blood. I really couldn't have cared less if he kept a mistress, if only he'd been discreet about it. Of course discreet and Bill Clinton rarely kept company.

Nadine,
My point was not about Billy. He is out.
I would argue that Hillary has now exposed herself as being at least a big a liar as he was.
I do not believe women will believe her story...But I do appreciate her dragging the entire mess in front of the public one more time.
Nobody wants to relive that mess...No demos and no repubs. She has now demonstrated that she cannot and will not get the story out of the public's face. That IMO dooms her career.
