The guys who jumped in the 3G bandwagon 'com gusto' are now with eggs splattered all over their faces.
The managers in those Europeans wireless operators have now to shred the NOK ERICY SI ALA NT LU White Papers and go back to the drawing board.

The CEO of those operators just write off the costs of the spectrum and say "it is a cost of doing business". That because they know they pay for the 3G spectrum just to avoid new entrants into their markets selling data and 3G. Hey, anyone who follows the incumbents' in the fixed line side of the business should know that.

The journalists who had championed 3G now have to turn themselves inside their own shoes to tell their readership:
"We goofed miserably"
They aren't brave enough to tell that since their credibility would go down the drain. Hence their opinion...
