RE: "In spite of the near unanimous consternation expressed on
this thread with respect to the Amazon of money, I have the distinct
feeling Brinker may be loathe to dethrone her."

How about this scenario:

1. Bob is getting ready to retire from the show.
2. The network is looking for a replacement.
3. Bill Flannigan either is not interested or the network thinks he is too boring.
4. The network sees the Goddess' outgoing personality as a definite draw.
5. The network couldn't care less whether the Goddess' financial advice is sound. The only thing that matters is the ratings of the show.
6. Bob will retire and the Goddess will take over.

Hopefully, the above scenario will NOT play out. I enjoy the Goddess, but she can't compare to the expertise of Bob.

Best wishes,

I2
