Then why are you not upset with Sanatorum's desire to limit sex between gays?

I am opposed to those laws as I have said numerous times.

There are gov'tmental things that no corp. would want to do and I would not entrust my well being with a corp and expect to come out whole. Their track records are less than stellar when it comes to human rights.

I would not support giving government like powers to corps. Either directly or allowing them to develop such powers through monopolies and violence. But most corporate law has little to do with efforts to keep corporations from dominating individuals or securing monopolies. Most monopolies are the result of government action, and government is the only organization allowed to impose its will by force. Since government is allowed to use force it should be very limited, otherwise more and more of our lives are controlled by force.

I am far more familiar with the workings of gov't and its foibles and good points than you are.

I doubt it.

And in spite of its foibles, it does many good things.

I never said it didn't. In fact I said it did. Some parts of it are necessary and some important things can't be done well by the private sector, and for the rest of government its hard to spend trillions without having any positive effect.

I am sorry if you have concluded that I see it as a champion. In my book, its a very necessary evil.

If something is a necessary evil wouldn't you want to have it be very limited?
