personally i think you should follow the instruction i posted first, given what you've now said.

"Close Netscape
Delete the registry.dat file
- the file is located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla
(Depending on your OS)
When you restart Netscape the Profile Manager will ask for a new Profile
Rename using the exact same name
You may lose some of your Preferences"

for your operating system, the registry.dat file is probably found in C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\

but please do keep this in mind:

i do not run the browser you are having problems with, so my attempts to help you may not succeed. in fact, as i look back at the above-mentioned fix, i believe it is stipulated for users with only ONE netscape profile, so it may be all wrong.

also, you can wait for others to help you here, and maybe Ramona will check in and forward some added suggestions to me.

it would help, btw, if you would let us know what things you have tried, or if you are unsure how to proceed with any of the suggestions. without this feedback from you, people are limited in what they can do to help.
