New Zealand's Ministry of Health is considering banning minors from eating high-calorie fast food and hamburgers. Some officials want to add soft drinks, sweets, and chocolate to the list of forbidden foods. It's part of an effort to battle obesity. Officials are also mulling a law barring fast food restaurants from operating within 1 kilometer of any school and a ban on advertising aimed at children.
