I agree, had the FED not been pumping earlier this year and gotten final capitulation, they would have been able to bring the markets back for a year leading into the election, most people would have blamed 911, and forgotten it by then. This actually makes his second term more dangerous for him economically as he could fall back into a recession that he's trying to avoid now.
