The new partner to be announced will most probably have to take care of most of that. That's why MLNM are looking for a big pharma partner with a big wallet but few ideas of their own.

Just compare with what BMY were prepared to do for Erbitux. Now, that was somewhat "unfortunate" from BMY's point of view and of course they overpaid heavily, but it goes to show that when a big pharma want something badly, they are prepared to pay a lot for it.

And you will not see too many new paradigm drugs (unpartnered, approved and ready to run) over a 10-year period.
