It is not in the nature of human beings to believe that they have received a fair share of anything. This is especially true when the person deciding on how to split things up speaks another language, is from a different country, follows a different moral code, and worships God in a different way.

In short, what you're suggesting is not just impossible, it's ridiculous.

But there are other problems. How many dollars per year do you think would be required to convince the Iraqi people that they are being treated fairly? They have TVs, and they know how good life is here in the US. And if they're like most of the 3rd world, they're convinced that our wealth is due to our exploitation of their raw materials. And how many dollars per year worth of oil can Iraq produce? Also, how many dollars per year of war reparations does Iraq owe to Kuwait and other countries?

I believe that if you look up the numbers, you will discover that (a) it will be many years before Iraq is producing much oil, and (b) that the amount of revenue provided by that oil will be insufficient to buy the love of the public, even if you ignore the reparations and debt repayments that Iraq owes.
