the engine business that keeps Oracle afloat is a better business than apps so the playing field between oracle and sebl isn't level. Its harder to make a profit in apps, the engine is almost a packaged commodity closer to something msft would sell. The apps business at Oracle has been badly managed and isn't profitable having nothing to do with stock options.
