Saddam is gone so it follows that the troops should depart. Of course, the U.S. will still have a major presence in the area.

So without Saddam, there is less threat and need for US troops. But the US will still have a major presence in the area....but it won't be in Saudi....so there is a threat to the region still...but it doesn't need to be countered by US troops in Saudi...but it does need to be countered by US troops elsewhere in the region...and its name is?????????

I'll give you a few minutes to unkink yourself from that game of Twister. Did I forget to mention we promised not to have bases in Iraq long-term? Where will they be then?
