C2, I'll second your thoughts exactly- “We decipher earnings reports, listen to earnings conferences, labor over IPR issues, track ASIC capabilities, handset forecasts, etc., none of which I've seen John acknowledge or discuss.” << I wonder if John has ever listened to any of Qualcomm’s semi-annual 5 hour conference calls? I’ve questioned him on that before with no reply. I’ll admit John has the gift of gab and can out talk just about anyone any day (except MQ), but as you say “, I'm not impressed by someone telling me my investment is going to hell in a handbasket unless he exhibits some understanding of those issues. “ He’s like the guy when asked the time of day, tells you how to make a watch. For John, still waiting>> John- >>"I have indeed named alternatives. Here and on other threads. You have just failed to notice." How about recapping such alternatives when you have the time for those of us who have failed to notice. TIA- jim (long since 1996)
